Apple\u2019s latest short is Big Man<\/em>, a moving short film captured entirely on the iPhone 16\u202fPro. Directed by Oscar-winner Aneil Karia<\/a> and featuring UK icon Stormzy, it\u2019s the story of Tenzman, a worn-out musician who rediscovers hope when two curious, upbeat kids bounce into his life. Together, they find warmth, spontaneity, and a fresh path forward.<\/p>\n

Why shoot it on an iPhone?<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Of course we fully get it but Director Karia said capturing a full narrative on an iPhone was \u201cinvigorating.\u201d He loved how its compact size let him get close to the characters\u2014small camera, big emotional impact.<\/span><\/p>\n

DoP Stuart Bentley<\/a> adds that having \u201cthis amazing camera in your pocket\u201d puts professional-quality filmmaking into everyone\u2019s hands. With features like Cinematic mode, dynamic range that shines at night, and ProRes\u202fLog for deep colour control, it\u2019s a creative game-changer.<\/span><\/p>\n

As Bentley puts it: \u201cIf you\u2019re hungry and passionate about cinema, there\u2019s no reason you can\u2019t make an amazing film.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n
